Great Zimbabwe

The more far-reaching tour embracing the World Heritage-listed site of the Great Zimbabwe ruins, and also Matopo NP (with its rhino protectorate).

Chobe (Botswana)

Just 70km from the Falls to the Botswana border, and you are into the world-famous Chobe wetland NP.  Across the border (no charges for a day visit), you are driven to our Chobe River cruise for a stunning verrry close-up view of the abundant game and birdlife that fill the river valley (look at our photo page for some examples filmed on one of our 2003 trips....).

This trip includes a fabulous riverside unlimited smorgasbord lunch (webmaster adds - we ate kudu and sudza ).  Then an afternoon drive as the herds of elephants come down to the River to drink and frolic.
