Safari photos

Welcome to Reedbuck Safaris' website.  Take a moment to look at what we offer our visitors to Victoria Falls and the Africa that surrounds it!  No visit to Southern Africa is complete without a visit to the awesome Falls and an encounter with the wild life that our area is famous for.

We are a small family operation based out of beautiful Victoria Falls, one of the seven wonders of the world.  We can arrange trips, accommodation, and personalised experience of Safari Africa!  In the National Parks, on the water, at the Falls, and in nearby Botswana.

A note from the webmaster:  Most of the photos on this website were taken on our own safaris.  These are thumbnails [to quicken download time].  Click on them to see the full-size photo.  >>>  These two were taken at dusk in the hideout at Mazuma Pan, Hwange NP.  We were watching the watchers!  Two very large lions lay close together nearby eyeing off their food options...  With Sam's (armed) ranger friend close by, we soaked up AFRICA!

And despite what the global media portray, Zimbabwe is a far safer environment than South Africa.  I spent 10 weeks travelling the country in 2008, and took another first-time visitor to the bush utilising Sam Gabara's bush skills and local contacts.  The animals and birdlife seem to be unaware of politics and the people are as friendly as ever - especially in the South where Sam operates.

May I invite you not to be put off by media exaggerations, and to join us and experience AFRICA the Reedbuck way too....  You won't regret it!
