Unit Courses currently available
Each student can set their own pace - recognising that email access can be very sporadic at times in parts of Southern Africa. The important thing is that the material is absorbed. So you can do the stuff!
Each Unit is divided into six sessions. There are some assignments involved (to be sent back in and graded), The purpose of these is to help the student grasp the essential issues under examination - not to determine their intellectual cleverness, etc! But they are not compulsory or central to this correspondence series.
Material available at present is limited, but will develop as the Program is expanded.
Unit #02 flows from the completion of Unit #01, and so on....

#01 - Handling the Word of Truth effectively |
Taking Paul's admonition to Timothy (by correspondence!), we look at the development of basic skills in the application of exegesis and hermeneutics to God's Word. The vital importance of developing these basic skills.... and what is likely to happen if we don't. Much of Southern African Christianity is chronically deficient in this area. This deficiency is a major reason for the proliferation of so many sects, cults, false and/or wayward ministries, etc, even among good-hearted sincere believers - "blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming" (Eph 4:14). |

#02 - Being Sound in the Faith |
Tracing through the NT the Ephesian Church's historical development, we explore the early warnings of Paul in the area of the need for doctrinal soundness, and the consequences of being a competent "workman", (2 Tim 2:15) - and of being a neglectful one. |

#03 - Cosmology and Ancestral Spirits |
Identification of this worldwide aspect of the unseen realm, its relationship to sin and prevention of people receiving the Gospel. Elements of dealing with ancestral spirits; ministering release to people "fleeing to Jesus" for protection, safety, and freedom. Ancestral spirits in the OT and NT, and how they were kept at bay A critical area of understanding for anyone wishing to be effective in ministering freedom in Christ, especially in a third world environment. |
