Welcome to Lifeline Online

This ministry functions under the umbrella of Lifeline Ministries Southern Africa.  It is an extension of the original mandate given by God to Ron Davies, Founder of Global Literature Lifeline in the 1970's - to extend the Great Commission in Southern Africa through the effective use of literature.  You can trace in more detail the journey from then to now, and the continually changing landscape of literature and ministry development, on our History of Lifeline page.

Lifeline Online is a Ministry Training Correspondence Program.  How the ministry has specifically come about is detailed on our Introduction to Lifeline Online page.

The range of material is limited at present, while we get the Program up and operating.  The original material is being reformatted away from a group discussion basis to a correspondence one.  Details are to be found on the Units available webpage.

Our aim is to provide quality correspondence material for believers in isolated circumstances, who want to deepen their appreciation of God's Word in a ministry context, and pick up skills that will enable greater fruitfulness in their own calling, regardless of its nature and where it fits within the Body of Christ.

It is not for young Christians.  We believe the role of discipling / teaching new Christians the Foundations of Christian faith and practice squarely belongs to the local church environment.  Our aim is to better equip believers who want to go forward in their grace-gift calling - to serve Lord Jesus Christ effectively, upon the basis of a soundness of faith and practice.

A recent addition has been added to further this aspect of local church ministry.  The  "Growing in Christ" series listed under OTHER RESOURCES can be downloaded (in PDF) and used as a basis for establishing young believers so they become "sound in the faith" - in doctrine and practice - so they will endure through the trials and temptations that will later come their way.  Feel free to use this material (but with acknowledgement of its source).  It has been written with a "Kingdom" perspective in mind (and not a Western church one).

All resources on this website are offered free.  Costs are being covered by praying, concerned Christians in Australia.  Donations are not asked for.  But, your support, by way of response, enrolment, advice, promotion, and prayer would be greatly appreciated!

Sahwira articles have been added for public perusal and to stimulate discussion - both in Southern Africa, and in the Western churches - especially among Christians who identify with the work of the Spirit and Word in Southern Africa.  Be blessed!  Be challenged!
