HCMF oversees Special Religious Education in our five local state high schools, and liaises with the extensive program in the 23 primary schools of our district.  It's a combined churches activity which has enabled every high school-aged student in Holroyd to have some exposure to the gospel.

Each school has a coordinator in place who organises volunteer teachers drawn from the supporting churches plus seminars for senior students.  Donations are tax deductible and can be made through the SRE office at 106A Jersey Rd, Greystanes, NSW 2145  (9896 2514).

Prayer and info updates are available by mail or email on request.

The Ministers' Fellowship also employs Boyette Zapata in a part-time capacity to produce a detailed overview of Primary School RE in the 23 primary schools of our District.  The aim is to "plug the gaps" in the SRE program so that every school, primary and high, has a viable Re ministry functioning - so that every student in Holroyd comes within earshot of the gospel.

A variety of combined services / celebrations are hosted in rotation by participating churches.  Representatives from many churches gather to (among other things) pray for our community, and celebrate our common call to fulfill the Great Commission!.  More details on Coming Events webpage.

Chapel and chaplaincy ministry is undertaken by a roster of ministers into retirement villages in the district - Cardinal Gilroy Village, (the largest in the district) and its smaller hostel at Greystanes receive weekly chapel.  Ministers are available for personal chaplaincy matters upon request.

Mrs Jean Ireland coordinates the training of volunteers who wish to help and grow in their expertise in assisting the elderly.  Details of the extensive training program offered by Southern Cross are accessible here.  You can contact Jean on JeanIreland@sch.org.au  9631-6480.

Council prayers and citizenship ceremony participation is conducted in conjunction with Holroyd Council.  The Mayor publicly commented in late 2003 on the effective role the Ministers' Fellowship has played in the Community.  We seek to conscientiously work with Community groups and Council for the ongoing betterment of the quality of life in our district.

Other Regular Christian ministries are highlighted on Local Ministries webpage.
