 | HCMF oversees
Special Religious Education in our five local state high
schools, and liaises with the extensive program in the 23 primary schools of
our district.
It's a combined churches activity which has enabled every high school-aged
student in Holroyd to have some exposure to the gospel.
|
Each school has a
coordinator in place who organises volunteer teachers drawn from the
supporting churches plus seminars for senior students. Donations are tax
deductible and can be made through the SRE office at 106A Jersey Rd,
Greystanes, NSW 2145 (9896 2514).
Prayer and info
updates are available by mail or email on request.
The
Ministers' Fellowship also employs Boyette Zapata in a part-time capacity to
produce a detailed overview of Primary School RE in the 23 primary schools of
our District. The aim is to "plug the gaps" in the SRE program
so that every school, primary and high, has a viable Re ministry functioning -
so that every student in Holroyd comes within earshot of the gospel.
 | A variety of combined services /
celebrations are hosted in rotation by participating churches.
Representatives from many churches
gather to (among other things) pray for our community, and celebrate our common call to fulfill the Great Commission!.

webpage.

 | Council
prayers and citizenship ceremony participation is conducted in
conjunction with Holroyd Council. The Mayor publicly commented in late

Community. We seek to conscientiously work with Community groups and

Holroyd
Ministry Development College (now in its 9th year) conducts courses for local people to be
better equipped to serve God, His church, and the community. Over 120
students from more than 20 churches have completed at least one Unit in that
time.
See Holroyd MDC
website for current course details.
A
light evening meal is provided each session from 6.30 to 7pm, enabling attenders to come straight from work where necessary. This time of refreshments and fellowship is a vital part of what makes
Holroyd MDC a relational environment for developing more
effective ministry skills. Holroyd
MDC does not charge a Unit fee, but relies on freewill offerings
to cover expenses (including meals).
